Portrait - Parysatis
At Ines de la Fressange, we've always been keen to celebrate a certain French art de vivre, made up of natural elegance, discreet audacity and freedom of spirit. With this in mind, we are launching a new series of portraits highlighting today's female influencers, whose world, values and style resonate fully with the DNA of the brand and the personality of Ines.
To inaugurate this series, we are delighted to present Parysatis, an influencer and businesswoman of singular charm, whose vision of fashion, inspiration and lifestyle perfectly reflect our vision of contemporary femininity.
Find out more about her and her answers to our questions.
1. Introduction & background
Can you tell our readers a little about yourself?
My name is Parysatis Peymani, and I'm co-founder of Harmony Homes, a company that lets you invest in beautiful holiday homes for as little as €1,000. I grew up between several cultures, and I've always been driven by the desire to build bridges between people through experiences.
What was your background before co-founding Harmony Homes? Was there a turning point?
I worked for around ten years for brands in the fashion, hotel, tourism and creative industries. The turning point came when I met my partners. I knew I wanted to create a project that would have an impact, that would link economic issues to concrete, sustainable and meaningful uses.
Where did you get your desire to create, to become an entrepreneur?
I think it runs in the family - I've always seen my parents go into business, and I also have a deep-seated need to create. Creating Harmony Homes was a way of breaking new ground and offering something different in a sector as codified as property. We're creating a real lifestyle brand that changes the way investment is used and demystifies it. We also have a strong innovation: our investors earn monthly income from their investment, but they also have priority and preferential rates on all the houses in our collection.
2. Harmony Homes & Commitment
Harmony Homes aims to make investing more accessible, particularly for women. Why is this mission so important to you?
Because the world of investment is still too closed, too opaque, and often dominated by male voices. Women are told that they need to be prudent and reasonable, that investing is risky... When in reality, not investing is just as risky. It's a powerful lever for taking your place, building your independence, and supporting projects that suit you.
Do you have any specific advice for people who would like to invest but don't yet dare to take the plunge?
Start small, but start. Even with €1,000, you're sending out a message to yourself: "I'm capable of making my money work". And surround yourself with people who don't make you feel ignorant or illegitimate. There's no shame in asking questions and getting started.
3. Inspirations & Personal universe
Which women inspire you in your journey?
Free women. Golshifteh Farahani for her strength and freedom of tone. My mother, who taught me independence at a very early age.
Where do you draw your inspiration from on a daily basis?
In places, in architecture and above all in conversations with the people around me: one discussion is sometimes worth all the seminars in the world.
Do you have a motto or philosophy that guides you in your choices?
"Carpe diem Two simple words, but so powerful. I never want to have regrets, I always try and persevere.
4. Style, elegance & art de vivre
How would you define your everyday style?
Minimalist but feminine. I like pieces with structure, natural colours and materials that live well. I believe that style is less a question of trends than a reflection of your mood and energy.
What clothes or accessories give you confidence?
A beautiful, well-cut jacket, a chic, matching bag and a well-tailored dress.
What role does fashion play in your life? And what does Ines de la Fressange's style mean to you?
Fashion has always been part of my life. When I was little, I used to dress up a lot in my mother's or even my father's clothes! For me, it was a form of armour to hide the fact that I was overweight (the teasing was very hard to take). For me, Ines de la Fressange embodies this assertive elegance. Her style is intelligent and always right: less is more!
If you had to associate one emblematic Ines de la Fressange piece with your world, which would it be and why?
The sailor suit. Cool, versatile, timeless. It's a solid base on which to build anything for daytime with ballet flats or evening with heels!
5. Look & projection
What message would you like to pass on to young women who are hesitating to take the plunge, whether in investment or entrepreneurship?
That they can take care of their finances in the same way as they take care of their body or figure. That they are legitimate, right now. That they can get help or ask questions without taboos.
What are your personal or professional plans or dreams for the future?
To keep Harmony Homes growing, of course, and to create a place in Paris, perhaps a showroom where ideas and people can come together. And why not co-create homes with brands? How do you imagine the Ines de la Fressange X Harmony Homes home?
